Dr. Danilo S. Hilario has been associated with Quality Assurance when he spearheaded in the development of the accreditation instrument for Industrial Technology program in 1988 -1989 and participated in the formal survey visit of AACCUP in 1991. . He has served as accreditor, trainor, member of the Board of Trustees since the early 90s as treasurer, auditor, vice president and ended as president of the Agency.
He obtained his doctorate degree program at the Technological University of the Philippines in 1988 and have served the Bulacan State University from 1975 starting as Instructor and promoted as full professor until his retirement in 2017. In his 42 years of loyal service to the University, he has served the academe as Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Various Campuses, Dean of Graduate School, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Academic Affairs, Planning, Research and Extension and International and Community Affairs. He has attended numerous trainings and conferences in Quality Assurance in both local and international fronts. He has also participated as accreditor of both the AACCUP and ALCU COA specially using on line mode. He is currently serving his second term as trustee of the NNQAA.
