NNQAA History
In 2004, the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies, (NNQAA), Inc. was founded as required by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the purpose of certifying programs and Institutions, as having been accredited in accordance with standards set by the CHED.
The NNQAA was composed of two Members, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. and the Association of Local Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (ALCU-COA), Inc. and later joined by International Distance Education Accreditation League (IDEAL). The programs accredited by AACCUP and ALCU-COA must be certified by NNQAA so that they will be given recognition by the CHED.
